How often do we walk passed wild flowers without really noticing them ?

Probably more than we realise. We'll may admire a wooded dell in April with a carpet of Bluebells. Or a spot field of buttercup that turns the whole meadow yellow. Or maybe the watch dandelions when they turn into spheres of white cottony pollen and fly away in the breeze.

But do we always notice the flower hidden in the hedgerow? Or the wild orchid growing in the sunny hollow amongst dense woodland? Or the multicolored poppies lining the edges of fields in July ?

To photograph wild flowers first you need a keen eye to spot the photo opportunity and then the dedication to get out there to to take the photo in what may be the easiest of locations. And finally you need the techniques to capture an amazing image.
